an exhibition about brazilian modern architecture and art was shown in the kunstgewerbemuseum zürich in 1954. the – uncredited – catalogue design is typically "swiss".
the green cover seems to have been inspired by the brazilian flag. the text pages are printed on green paper, too.
photos of modernist buildings by brazilian architects are arranged in a matching layout with lots of white space.
there is a section about mary vieira (1927-2001), a brazilian artist who moved to europe in 1952.
her elegant sculptures show an affinity to max bill's work, as she points out in the text. mary vieira was one of the artists in the exhibition decribed in the previous book story.
