"intimate america" is a rather funny report about the society and lifestyle in 1930's u.s.a. – from the dating (and divorcing) habits of american women and men to their love for the automobile. hagenbach raves about the u.s. democracy, but critisises the horrendous living conditions of the black population, and especially native americans.
