here we have a book by four swiss aviation pioneers, ...
... among them walter ackermann (1903-1939) and robert fretz (1901-1979).
the book design sports a photographic jacket with slab-serif type ...
... and an asymmetric title page, modernist but uncredited. it could well be by walter cyliax (1899-1945) who was art director for the fretz printing house in those years, but i am not sure.
the photo section is impressive: ...
... here fretz's first landing on the frozen lake of arosa in 1932.
