this one with an impressive aerial photograph of a skyscraper and asymmetrically arranged sansserif type on the front was designed by ernst buss (dates?).

no designer is mentioned in the book, but this jacket is reproduced and credited to buss in book 422.

andré siegfried (1875-1959) was a french sociologist and political writer.

this is a german edition of his book "les états-unis d'aujourd'hui" from 1927.
