basel school legend armin hofmann (*1920) designed numerous catalogues for the kunsthalle basel, see also stories 313 and 389.

for this one he also used an asymmetrical arrangement of the artists' names in sansserif. the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines seem to be aligned along the downstrokes in the letters "h" and "l".

kunsthalle director arnold rüdlinger (1919–1967), contributed the introductory text for this 1959 exhibition of works by four swiss sculptors: ...
