this booklet on paper in printing cost calculation" was produced by the school for the printing trade in leipzig in 1932. this school in germany's "capital of the book trade" was founded in 1929.

henning andersen krüger (1904-??) authored several books on the subject of cost calculation and bookkeeping in the printing industry.

the term "manuskriptdruck" on the title page suggests that it was printed in the workshop of the leipzig school.

the typography – especially the cover title and the asymmetric page numbers – seems to be inspired by the elegant modernism that can also be found in tschichold's book designs for the bücherkreis.
