in 1954, the last exhibition of the "allianz", a group of swiss modern artists, was shown at the helmhaus in zürich.
the catalogue was designed by richard paul lohse (1902-1988) who co-founded the "allianz" in 1937.
on the left the reproduction of a painting by lohse: its strictly orthogonal, asymmetric construction on a white ground perfectly matches the catalogues's typographic design!
