this is the catalogue of an exhibition about modern school buildings at the kunstgewerbeschule zürich in 1953.

the cover design by fritz moeschlin (*1922) with photographs overprinted by plans reminds of this jacket by max bill. fritz moeschlin was also a book designer for the büchergilde gutenberg zürich.

max bill also designed a book by alfred roth on modern school buildings (story 87). roth contributed a text to this catalogue.

the typography is typically swiss with sans-serif and asymmetric titles. below a nice ad by carlo vivarelli for the feller company (also see story 62).
