felix brunner (*1929) studied chemistry and later became a renowned printing technology expert. for some time he operated a lithographic workshop and gallery.
in 1962 arthur niggli first published this book by brunner on graphic reproduction processes which proved very successful: this copy is a 5th edition licenced by hatje, stuttgart. the design is identical to the first edition.
no designer is credited (i read somewhere that arthur niggli designed many of his book himself, so this might be the case here.)
the book design is classic swiss style: multi-column, multi-language, sans-serif, ...
... and a strict grid.
