in 1949 max bill (1908-1994) organized an exhibition of modern design called "die gute form" on behalf of the swiss werkbund (swb). in the years 1952-1968 the label "die gute form" was used by the swiss werkbund to promote "good design". this is the exhibition catalogue of a 1954 exhibition in zürich and winterthur.

the author of the introductory text nor the catalogue's designer is credited. it is in the typical swiss modernist style with sans-serif text and asymmetrically placed titles.

this photo spread shows designs by wilhelm kienzle, including the game "trigon" which is inspired by max bill style "concrete art".
