the gewerbemuseum basel showed this exhibition on construction in the u.s.a. one year after the kunstgewerbemusum zürich which featured a catalogue cover by max bill (see story 134).
the basel catalogue cover is signed "numa rick", i.e. walter rickenbacker (1902-1973), a basel-based artist/graphic designer.
the inner pages are identical to the zürich catalogue. below at the right a massachusetts holiday house designed by walter gropius and marcel breuer.
