"spirale", a magazine for "concrete art and poetry", was founded by marcel wyss (1930-2017), dieter roth (1930-1998), and eugen gomringer (*1925) in 1954.

this 9th and last issue contains a multiple by wyss, hand signed in the impressum. the printed drawings on a set of 5 transparent acetete sheets can be combined to form different constellations.

karl gerstner ("1930) contributed the introductory text, set in sans-serif, all-lowercase. the ad for schwitter on the rear cover is also a design by gerstner.
