another catalogue from the same exhibition series mentioned in story 437, again designed by herbert w. kapitzki (*1925). according to the impressum the cover design is based on a logo by wilhelm deffke.

this exhibition was a retrospective of seven decades of graphic design, starting in the late 1800s. the text is by eckhard neumann (1933-2006), a former student and later lecturer at the hfg ulm. neumann, a well-known design historian, also worked as an advertising manager for swissair.
