"unser leib" is a book about "our body" for high school students. the cover design is strongly influenced by constructivism. there is a signature "w." in the red field – that's all i know about the uncredited designer's name.

the inner pages have a very different look – traditional fraktur with centred titles.

the book was published by benziger in einsiedeln, a town in central switzerland famous for its benedictine abbey. the author is pater (father) damian buck (1871–1940), a priest and teacher at the abbey school – it actually still exists today. leafing through he book you find out: father damian covers most body parts and organs – however genitals are nonexistant ... well, less surprising for a catholic school book than that "bolshevist" cover design ...
