this undated book was the third volume of a series on model companies in germany. it features the large berlin publishing house founded by rudolf mosse (1843-1920).
the striking uncredited cover design is in the early new typography style, with bold geometric elements and blocky sans-serif capitals. the typography of the inner pages is more traditional.
there are interesting photos showing newspaper production in the 1920s.
