a rather amazing cover and jacket by an uncredited designer in a style similar to early bauhaus and dutch "stijl", with geometric elements and vertically constructed title on the cover! i read somewhere that it is apparently by otto erich wagner (1895-1979), an artist who took part in the "kinetist" avant-garde art movement of 1920s' vienna and designer of several books for the munich barth-verlag.
this copy has got the original book bind designed in the early "elemental" new typography style, ...
... a good match for a book with the title "the elements of astrology" ...
.... written by the well-known german astrologists friedrich "sindbad" schwickert (1857-1930) and adolf weiss.
