this booklet is here for its content rather than its design which is conventional – actually somewhat surprising since the author was a publisher of books famous for their modernist design: ...

... hans girsberger (1898-1982) mainly published books on modern architecture and art, many of which are featured in this collection. "stationen" are his autobiographical notes, privately published in 1970.

there is interesting first-hand info on girsberger's books and their designers such as walter cyliax (photo on the left) and ernst keller (with a great self-portait drawing based on the letters of his own name!).
