the next few stories are about swiss exhibition catalogues of the 1940-60s. this 1945 catalogue on african art features a cover design by kunstgewerbeschule zürich teacher ernst keller (1891-1968). the cover design is based on the exhibition poster.

note the "primitive" drawing and writing style, with inversed letter "N".

the introductory texts are by johannes itten (1888-1967) and ...

... by elsy leuzinger (*1910), who later became director of the rietberg museum in zürich.
