the next few stories will be about kunsthalle basel exhibition catalogues which in the 1950-60s were mostly designed by the "basel school" pioneers emil ruder and armin hofmann.
this minimalist cover design by armin hofmann (*1920) employs the two artists' names in black akzidenz-grotesk semibold on white.
the show included works by two sculptors, arnold d'altri )1904-1980) and bernhard luginbühl (*1929).
note the narrow text columns with minimal outer margins, contrasting the white space.
