this tourist brochure for arosa, a swiss mountain resort in the canton of grisons is easy to date: it includes the sport programme for summer 1936.
it was designed by alex walter diggelmann (1902-1987), a graphic artist particularly well known for his tourist and sport posters.
this brochure combines quite wacky photomontages with more conventional hand drawings.
swiss writer hermann hiltbrunner (1893-1961) contributed a text on "arosa in its summer form".
