this catalogue of a 1962 georges vantongerloo exhibition in london was edited and designed by max bill (1908-1994, see also previous story). on the blue wrappers we find just the artist's signature ...

... while his name is printed in akzidenz-grotesk on the title page title. flush-left, ragged-right setting of text was bill's preferred style from the 1950s.

after i had bought this copy for just a few euros i noticed that a greeting card was laid in at the back – hand-signed by vantongerloo.
