alexander dorner (1893-1959) was an influential professor and museum man in hanover before he emigrated to the u.s. in 1937.
this booklet celebrates the 100th anniversary of the technical university of hanover. on its cover the "saxony steed", a bronze statue by albert wolff from 1866 which stands in front of the university.
