this book was published by wohnbedarf, the pioneering zürich shop for modernist furniture, at the occasion of its 25th anniversary in 1956.
the square white booklet sports a simple title in akzidenz-grotesk. the glassine jacket is still present on this copy.
classic swiss typography ...
... and nice photos of the shop which is still going strong at its original location in zurich.
the booklet was designed by richard paul lohse (1902-1988) ...
... whose portrait is found next to a text he wrote (below left). lohse designed most of wohnbedarf's printed matters at the time – see story 752.
most of the photos are by hans finsler (1991-1972).
